Appointment of New Executive Director
The Board of Directors of Transparency International Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Trevor Loke as the organization’s new Executive Director, effective June 17, 2023. A Vancouver-based social entrepreneur and public advocate, Trevor brings a over 15 years of experience with nonprofits to the role.
With a leadership experience drawn from roles at Coast Funds, MakeWay Foundation, and the University of Portsmouth, Trevor brings a renewed focus on stakeholder and member engagement. As a consultant for the Transparency International Secretariat, Trevor developed ethical fundraising and partnership frameworks for strategic growth with industry, government, and philanthropy.
Trevor is a co-founder of Orgmatch, a technology company that helps companies build trust through community investment. He also previously co-founded Weeve, a non-profit crowdfunding platform that was acquired in 2013. Trevor served the citizens of Vancouver as Park Board Commissioner from 2011-2014.
About his appointment, Trevor stated: “I am honoured to join Transparency International Canada and contribute to its vital work in promoting integrity, accountability, and transparency. These values are critical to the health of our democracy and nation. I look forward to collaborating with the dedicated team at Transparency International, both in Canada and globally, to advance the organization’s vision of a world free of corruption.”

Le conseil d'administration de Transparency International Canada est ravi d’annoncer le nomination de Trevor Loke au poste de directeur géneral de l'organisation, à compter du 17 juin 2024. Entrepreneur social et défenseur du public au Vancouver, Trevor apporte à ce poste plus de 15 ans d'expérience auprès d'organisations à but non lucratif.
Fort d'une expérience de leadership tirée de ses fonctions au sein de Coast Funds, de la MakeWay Foundation et de l'Université de Portsmouth, Trevor apporte une attention renouvelée à l'engagement des parties prenantes et des membres. En tant que consultant pour le Secrétariat de Transparency International, Trevor a développé des cadres de collecte de fonds et de partenariat éthiques pour une croissance stratégique avec l'industrie, le gouvernement et la philanthropie.
Trevor est co-fondateur d'Orgmatch, une entreprise technologique qui aide les entreprises à renforcer la confiance grâce à l'investissement communautaire. Il a également cofondé Weeve, une plateforme de financement participatif à but non lucratif acquise en 2013. Trevor a servi les citoyens de Vancouver en tant que commissaire du conseil d'administration des parcs de 2011 à 2014.
