Transparency International Canada welcomes appointment of Deputy Minister for Financial Crimes Agency ahead of crucial next steps
Transparency International Canada (TI-Canada) welcomes the appointment of the Hon. Rob Stewart as Deputy Minister for the Canada Financial Crimes Agency. While this signals progress in the Agency's establishment as well as the Government's commitment to its role, further steps in law, policy, and resources are needed to make the Agency effective.
