Presentations from the TI-Canada Imperial Oil “Anti-Corruption Issues Facing the Oil and Gas Industry” seminar held in Calgary, 26 September 2012, and the TI-Canada Davis LLP “Anti-Corruption for the Mining Sector: Law Enforcement, Risk and Compliance” seminar held in Vancouver, 31 October 2012, are now available on the home page www.transparencycanada.ca;
Individual and Student Membership Applications and Renewals can now be paid on-line; if you haven’t renewed yet for 2012, please visit www.transparencycanada.ca and click on the Membership Application/Membership Renewal button;
The 2012 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) is available at: http://www.transparency.org/cpi2012/. This year, Canada ranks 9th, with a score of 84. As of 2012, TI is using a new methodology to determine the CPI, now allowing countries to be compared year-to-year, going forward.
